Plastic Surgery for Nose

Rhinoplasty is an aesthetic procedure that solves humps and nasal septum deviations, nose too long or too wide, tip down, etc.

Besides aesthetic considerations, rhinoplasty corrects birth defects, deformities, trauma, accidents and burns.
Rhinoplasty restore security and self-esteem to people.

The procedure is performed in surgery room by a plastic surgeon. He will decide whether the procedure is performed under local or general anesthesia, and this will depend on the permanence of the patient at the clinic.

Most rhinoplasty procedures are limited to the inside of the nose, thus avoiding external scars; but in complex cases the surgeon may indicate an open procedure, where he makes a small vertical incision in the tissue that separates the nostrils.

Rhinoplasty does not require hospitalization. A week after the procedure, the patient can resume normal activities but some traces of inflammation and bruising will remain. It will take two weeks approximately to disappear all the visible signs of rhinoplasty.

  1. Thanks for sharing such useful and great information.
Rhinoplasty is a facial cosmetic procedure, usually performed to enhance the appearance of the nose. During rhinoplasty, the nasal cartilages and bones are modified, or tissue is added, to improve the visual appeal of the nose. Rhinoplasty is also frequently performed to repair nasal fractures. When rhinoplasty is used to repair nasal fractures, the goal is to restore pre-injury appearance of the nose.
